EAST HAVEN CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE DAY
WITH ALL DAY BEACH PARTY AND FIREWORKS SHOW
SPONSORED BY VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA
CHAPTER 484 AND THE TOWN OF EAST HAVEN
• The committee is desperately seeking donations and sponsors for its 10th Annual Fireworks Display to be held on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the Town Beach. In our present economic climate, both sponsorship and individual donations have sharply declined, compromising this year’s event. We are appealing to all our town residents: If everyone who attends this all–day event would contribute just one dollar, the committee and town would be able to cover the expenses. But please don’t wait.
We need your donations now!
• To make your donation, you can go to our secure web site at Vietnam Veterans of America 484 website or you can mail your donation to: VVA 484 Fireworks C/O Annarose Russo, 41 Hobson St. East Haven, CT 06512 or drop your donation at the Mayor’s Office, 250 Main Street, East Haven, CT 06512.
• We are also looking for Crafters and non-food Vendors. Crafters must supply your own tables and tents. Special rates by calling Acting Police Chief Guy Nappi at 203–468–3820.
