TOWN HALL INFORMATION
• Town Hall Office Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:30A.M. – 4:30P.M.
• Mayor’s Office Hours: Monday thru Friday: 8:30A.M. – 4:30P.M.
• The 3rd Monday extended hours for Town Hall will be suspended until further notice.
The Mayor’s office is currently exploring other options to better serve the people in our community.
• Residents are invited to call the Mayor’s Office to schedule an appointment with her during the day or after hours.

Former Mayor Proto Deceased at 88
Mayor April Capone Almon and her Staff offer condolences to the family of former East Haven Mayor Anthony Proto, who passed away on July 2, 2009. Mayor Proto served the Town from 1975–1985. East Haven will fly their flags at half staff to honor his memory. In a Statement from the Office of Governor M. Jodi Rell: "We are sorry to hear about the passing of East Haven's former mayor."

In observance of Independence Day the Town Hall will be closed Friday July 3rd.
Town Land Fill hours will be Thursday July 2nd 8:30 to 3:00, closed Friday July 3rd and Saturday July 4th.
EAST HAVEN’s GOT TALENT, IS IT YOU?
• Are you able to sing? Dance? Juggle? Think you have what it takes to be a comedian?
Participate in the Town Wide Talent Show print and complete this talent show registration form and returning to Bob Petrucelli, YSB Coordinator. Registration forms are also available in the Mayor’s Office and at Hagaman Memorial Library.
• Space is limited. All acts will be taped at the East Haven Television (ETV) studios in early August. The talent show is sponsored by the Town of East Haven Youth Service Bureau, the Town of East Haven Youth Services Commission and ETV. (ETV Studios is now located at 400 Coe Avenue.) For info contact Youth Service Bureau Coordinator Bob Petrucelli 468–3297.
DENTAL CLINIC COMING TO EAST HAVEN
The Hospital of Saint Raphael Mobile Dental Clinic will be in front of Town Hall on the following Mondays from 9:00AM – 1:00PM: July 27th, August 3rd & August 24th.
They will provide preventive dental services: cleanings, exams, sealants, fluoride and x–rays.

"EVERYTHING BUT FOOD DRIVE" June 27–July 18
American Disability Act Committee (ADAC)is collecting diapers, toothpaste, toilet tissue, paper towels, soap etc. to benefit East Haven Food Pantry.
From June 27th through July 18th drop your donations in boxes at Town Hall and at the A&P in Foxon. On July 18th from 9am to 2pm the ADAC committee will be at A&P Store for the final collection to thank everyone for their continued support to the community.

East Haven Hosts 2009 Columbus Day Parade
East Haven will host the 2009 Columbus Day Parade Sunday, October 11th at 1 p.m.
Columbus Day Committee General Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 PM East Haven Senior Center. The public is invited to participate in the next meeting July 9, 2009.
