• Mayor names NHSO the Orchestra–in–Residence in East Haven.
  East Haven Mayor April Capone Almon is pictured with board members and musicians of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO). The NHSO has brought its famed Pops Series concerts to East Haven this season. The NHSO will perform its annual Holiday Extravaganza, Friday, December 11, 7:30pm at the East Haven High School featuring NHSO Associate Conductor Gerald Steichen, and special guests, the Elm City Girls’ Choir and Metropolitan Opera virtuoso, Lorraine Ernest.
