TEMPORARY OUTDOOR DINING AND RETAIL PERMIT 

Businesses with already existing outdoor uses, who will not be expanding that area only need to fill out the form. The form can be emailed to the Zoning Enforcement Officer at jbudrow@easthaven-ct.gov

Business who wish to expand or establish new outdoor dining or retail use areas must fill out the application and follow the submission instructions. These applications may be submitted via mail or by appointment during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applications for expansions or new outdoor use areas will not be accepted via email.

All proposed tents will require approvals and safety inspections from the East Haven Fire Marshal and Building Officials.

Any incomplete applications will not be processed. Please read all instructions carefully before submission of your application. Please allow for up to 10 calendar days for approval from the date a complete submission is received.
