August 10th Polling Places 2nd Change

Changes to locations of polling places for the Democratic and Republican Party Primary – State or District (Multi–Town) Office to be held August 10, 2010 are as follows:

District 01 and 04 will be voting at Tuttle School, 108 Prospect Rd
District 02 will be voting at DC Moore School, 82 Elliot St
District 03 and 05 will be voting at East Haven High School, 35 Wheelbarrow Ln
District 1S and 5S will stay the same.

These changes are only for the August 10, 2010 Democratic and Republican Primary. Please call (203) 468–3201 with any questions.

TIME TO LICENSE YOUR DOG!!

June is dog licensing month in East Haven. All dogs six months of age and older must be licensed by June 30 to avoid penalties. License fees are $19.00 for female or male dogs and $8.00 for spayed female or neutered male dogs. Please stop by the East Haven Town Clerks Off ice to purchase a license for your dog. Please bring rabies vaccination certificate and spayed or neutered certificate with you at the time of purchase. Office hours are 8:30am to 4:15pm Monday thru Friday.

EFFECTIVE APRIL 12, 2010

• VEHICLE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A LANDFILL PERMIT.

PLEASE BRING THE REGISTRATION OF THE VEHICLE YOU WILL BE USING TO TRANSPORT DEBRIS TO THE LANDFILL WITH YOU WHEN PURCHASING A LANDFILL PASS AT THE TOWN CLERK’S OFFICE.
• A BUILDING PERMIT WILL BE REQUIRED TO DUMP CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AT THE TOWN LANDFILL.
• MATTRESSES ARE NOT ACCEPTED AT THE LANDFILL. THESE ARE TO BE PUT OUT WITH YOUR WEEKLY TRASH PICK UP.
