SMART Recovery Connecticut's First Local Meeting has Returned to East Haven, Connecticut

Location: Hagaman Memorial Library, 227 Main St., East Haven, Connecticut.

SMART Recovery CT is pleased to announce that the meeting in East Haven, which initially began in March of 2014, has returned and is now one of 18 SMART Recovery meetings in Connecticut.

The meeting is held on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at the Haganan Memorial Library, 227 Main St.,East Haven, CT.

SMART Recovery is a free, abstinence-oriented, peer-support group based on cognitive behavioral approaches to addiction recovery.  The meeting is open to anyone  with an addiction to drugs, alcohol, gambling, or other dependencies.  There is no charge for the meetings, but donations are welcome.

SMART Recovery is recognized as a resource for substance abuse and addiction recovery by the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Center for Health Care Evaluation, The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), US Department of Health and Human Services, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
