Justice of the Peace Application for Unaffiliated

Between August 1, 2020 and November 1, 2020, inclusive, any unaffiliated elector or minor party elector in East Haven may apply to the Town Clerk for appointment as a justice of the peace. No one who is, or has been, on the Democratic or Republican enrollment list in East Haven on or after May 1, 2020 and before the appointment in November may apply for one of the 10 appointive justice of the peace slots available to the Town Clerk to fill. It is a 4 year term beginning January 4, 2021 and ending January 6, 2025, if you are interested in applying please fill out form and mail to: Town Clerk, 250 Main Street, East Haven, CT 06512.
