Re: Ramon E. Figueroa, IT Administrator 

The Town of East Haven is pleased to announce the hiring of Ramon E. Figueroa as the new Information technology (IT) Administrator. Ramon brings to the Town of East Haven 24 years of IT experience, most recently, Ramon was the IT Supervisor for the Town of Newtown. He holds an extensive array of certifications in the IT industry, including substantial experience in the public safety sector. Ramon helped Newtown relocate their police department in 2020; he was responsible for maintaining the applications for Newtown’s 911 call center; and he provided IT support for Newtown’s Police and Fire departments’ dispatch center.
In addition to Ramon’s broad municipal experience, he has significant management experience, and proven team leadership skills. Ramon will be an asset to East Haven as we expand our IT Department under his leadership. Ramon officially started in his role on August 1, 2022. Please join me in officially welcoming Ramon to East Haven.
