Each month the Rotary recognizes a student from East Haven High School's junior class. The student is invited to attend a Thursday night dinner meeting at the Twin Pines Diner Restaurant and is presented with a certificate and a check for $ 100. Winners then become eligible for the $1000 Jack Leary Memorial scholarship to be awarded at the end of their senior year.

The Club will be celebrating its 80th anniversary during 2019, as it was organized on March 3, 1939. In honor of reaching this milestone, the Rotary is planning to donate and install a distinctive decorative clock to be located outside the Hagaman Memorial Library. The Rotary will be offering over 110 sponsorship listings, on a first come-first serve basis, that will appear on each side of the clock. The sponsorships will be for $ 250 per line, which will be limited to 21 characters (including spaces). The donations may be made by visiting the Rotary's website at www.easthavenrotary.org with payments accepted by various credit cards through PayPal.
