Underage Drinking Prevention Project
East Haven PRYD worked with the Pita Marketing Group to create two videos for parents on how to have a conversation with your children on alcohol and other drugs. These are only one example of a way to start the conversation -- It doesn't need to be perfect, it just needs to start. COMMUNITY REPORT & SURVEY:
The Town of East Haven Youth Service Bureau and the Youth Services Commission have partnered with The Connection, Inc. a statewide non profit human service and community development agency in receiving federal grant funds to combat underage drinking in East Haven. To date this group has developed a strategic plan, view the East Haven Strategic Plan, with Board of Education approval and support conducted a survey of over 1400 students in grades 6– 12, view East Haven Fact Sheet 2011 and created a community report, view the Community Report Scanned Copy.
