East Haven Town Council is soliciting volunteers to fill open positions on boards and commissions
The Town of East Haven Town Council is soliciting volunteers to fill open positions on the American Disabilities Act Commission, the Blight Appeals Committee, the Board of Assessment Appeals Committee, the Board of Ethics, East Shore Health District representatives, the Housing Authority, the Old Cemetery Board, the School Building Committee, the Board of Selectmen, Urban Renewal Commission, and the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Those interested must be a registered voter in the Town of East Haven.
Anyone interested should email a letter of intent and resume to the attention of Town Council Administrative Services Committee C/O Chairman Joseph E. Deko at JDeko@townofeasthavenct.org OR mail 250 Main St., East Haven, CT 06512 by January 22, 2021. Resumes will then be reviewed and applicants will be interviewed via zoom. Those selected will be contacted and then appointed by the East Haven Town Council.
The Town Council encourages all registered voters who are interested in town government to apply, regardless of gender or ethnic background.
