Re: East Haven Senior Center

After an emergency meeting with the East Shore Heath District (“ESHD”) late this morning, it has been brought to the Town’s attention that an individual(s) related to the East Haven Senior Center have tested positive for COVID 19; the town has been informed this case does not appear to be related to the new variant.  At this point those who have had direct exposure to this individual(s) have been contacted. Given the facts known at this time, ESHD has recommended that the town temporarily pause all activity at the Senior Center out of an abundance of caution.  During this time the Center will be deep cleaned. 

Updates will be given as more information becomes available.
