East Haven: If you have questions about your Medicare options and/or would like to schedule a 1-on-1 counseling session with a trained CHOICES counselor at the Hagaman Memorial Library, 227 Main Street in East Haven or remotely via phone or Zoom, call (203) 433-2387 and leave a message. 

CHOICES is a Connecticut State program administered by the Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut.  Counselors have received extensive training in health insurance issues. They provide the information and assistance necessary for consumers to understand their rights, receive benefits to which they are entitled and make informed choices about health insurance concerns. Counselors do not sell insurance. 
 

The CHOICES Counselor for the Library will be Susan Wells.  She will be available by appointment only; please contact her at the number above to schedule an appointment or just ask a question.  In addition to Medicare questions, Susan can also assist you to search for money-savings programs you might be eligible for through the Benefits Checkup website at www.benefitscheckup.org
