Merit Award Committee Now Accepting Nominations for 2016 Recipients To Be Honored at Merit Award Dinner---Deadline June 30th

The Merit Award Committee has announced that nomination forms are now available for consideration by the committee to determine this year’s recipients, who will be honored at the award dinner, which will be held on Thursday September 8th at 6:00 pm at the Country House Restaurant on Route 80 in Foxon.
 
Nomination forms may be obtained from the Mayor’s office or at the Hagaman Memorial Library both on Main Street. Forms received by email may also be obtained by contacting Mayor Maturo’s office at (203) 468-3204. Nominees must be an East Haven resident. Completed forms should be returned to the Merit Award Committee c/o Mayor’s Office, 250 Main Street, East Haven, CT 06512. All forms must be received by June 30, 2016.
 
The awards, which recognize East Haven residents who have made contributions for the betterment of the Town, will be honored at The Merit Award Dinner, which is the kickoff event for East Haven’s largest event, its annual Fall Festival (now celebrating its 25th Anniversary), being held Friday, Saturday and Sunday September 9th, 10th and 11th on the Town Green.
