Re: Voter registration, election day registration and extended hours for voter registration

Extended Hours:

The Registrars of Voters office, which is located in the lower level of Town Hall, will be offering extended hours for voter registration. To vote at your designated polling place, you must be registered 7 days prior to Election Day. The last day for this type of registration is Tuesday, October, 26, 2021. The registrars’ office will be open on Tuesday, October 26th from 8am to 8pm. If unable to register within this time frame, Connecticut offers Election Day Registration.

Election Day Registration:
Any unregistered East Haven resident who is eligible to vote, or any registered voter who has just recently moved to East Haven, may register and vote in person on Election Day [Nov. 2] at the Town’s election day registration table in the lower level of Town Hall on Election Day. Hours of operation are 6am to 8pm.

Proof of identification is required to register.
