Town Clerk’s Office will be re-opening August 3, 2020

The East Haven Town Clerk’s Office will be re-opening August 3, 2020 to the public and Title Searchers.   

The office doors will be closed but we will be open, so please come on in!  

Please see below for instructions:

Public:

•  Please make sure to use the first door which will have a sign public entrance.
• You will be required to wear a mask at all times.
• Only 3 people will be allowed at a time in the office.
• Please wait at the door until you are called upon.
•  Please make sure to use the hand sanitizer on the counter before and after conducting business.

Title Searchers:

•  Please use the second door which will have a sign Title Searcher entrance.
• You will be required to wear a mask at all times.
• Only 2 searchers will be allowed in at a time by appointment only.
• Appointments will be 45 minutes in length.
• Starting July 27, 2020 please call the office at 203-468-3201 to schedule an appointment.
• If you are recording, you will need to schedule an appointment as well unless you can perform a rundown prior to arriving at the office.
• Upon arrival, please check in with the staff.
• Please sanitize your hands before beginning work.
• Please let the staff know when you before you leave so the necessary sanitization procedures can take place before the next appointment.
• Please sanitize your hands before leaving.
