Elderly/Totally Disabled Homeowners Benefit Program

The East Haven Assessors Office will be accepting applications for the Elderly/Totally Disabled Homeowners Benefit Program from February 1, 2023 through May 15, 2023.

All applicants must be 65 years or older or totally disabled as of December 31, 2022, AND own and live in the residence as of October 1, 2022 AND meet the following income guidelines:

$49,100 maximum annual income for a married couple

$40,300 maximum annual income for a single person

All applicants must provide proof of all income for the year 2022.

All applicants will be accepted by Appointment ONLY. Appointments will be available on Wednesdays between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm.
